The American College of Sports Medicine has updated its list of newest fitness trends and here are the results.

This is the second year in a row that wearable technology has been named as the top fitness trend, with exercisers loving the tracking, challenges and motivation that technology is now able to give them. Check out the top three favourites on the 2017 fitness trend list.

1. Bodyweight training

Bodyweight training can be pitched at all fitness levels, making it the perfect option for beginners, intermediates and advanced exercisers. Turn an exercise up to make it harder by adding explosive movements or speed. Turn an exercise down when you need to by regressing it to a lower level.
