How much does it cost for a Goodlife membership?Memberships start from just $14.95 per week and vary depending on membership type and location.
How much is the admin fee?Our admin fee is $99 for 24.7 clubs and $89 for all other clubs. This covers the cost of setting up the membership and direct debit with our third-party billing provider.
How old do I have to be to join Goodlife?Children aged 13-14 may become Goodlife members and have restricted access to club facilities only while they are supervised by a personal trainer or a parent or legal guardian at all times. Children 15 years or older can join as a member (with authorisation of parent or guardian) but may have restricted access to some facilities and services without supervision.
Does my membership give me access to all Goodlife gyms?Our Active Plus and Active Flexi (all clubs) memberships allow access to any Goodlife gym, while our Active Advantage, Active Home and Active Flexi (home) memberships permit access one club.
Home club members may access another Goodlife club for $20 per visit or upgrade to an all clubs membership for a small weekly fee.
How do I cancel my membership?You will need to contact your home club – either in person or over the phone – and they will be able to begin the process of cancelling your membership.
Who should I speak to if I have a question about my membership?You will need to contact the club you signed up at either in person, using the ‘Send Enquiry’ button on our website or by phoning the team directly. Alternatively, call 1300 393 733 and enter the postcode of your home club to be connected directly.
Can I put my membership on hold?Suspensions are available for a minimum period of 2 weeks and a maximum of 4 weeks per year. A suspension form must be completed in person at the club at least 10 days before the period requested and cannot be backdated. A fee of $5 per week applies to suspend your membership. Active Plus members are entitled to 1 complimentary suspension per year.
I’m not a member. Can I still visit my nearest Goodlife location on a casual basis?
Absolutely! Even if you’re not a member you can still train at any Goodlife location during staffed hours for just $20 per visit.
Can I transfer my membership to a friend?
Yes. Depending on your membership type you may transfer your membership to a family member or friend. Active Plus members can transfer their membership for free, while all transfers will incur a $65 fee.

Does Goodlife offer free guest passes for my friends and family?

Are Goodlife staff trained in first aid?
It’s important to know that when you train at Goodlife during staffed hours, there will always be someone standing by who is fully certified in First Aid, giving you peace of mind and the confidence that we’ve got your back.
In addition to this, every 24.7 club has an Emergency Information Station installed, which includes easy-to-follow instructions in the case of an emergency, a fully-stocked first aid kit and an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Does Goodlife offer child minding or creche facilities?
Got a mini-me in tow? No problem! We offer nurturing and enriching child minding facilities in selected gyms to keep the kids entertained while you keep working on your fitness. We are committed to constantly upgrading our clubs in order to keep up with fitness trends and meet the needs of our members. Do I have to purchase a 24.7 Active Pass if I’m a member of a 24.7 club?
Our 24.7 Active Pass is an optional purchase and you can still train during staffed hours without it. However, if you would like to train around the clock, visit the club on weekends and public holidays and attend classes outside of staffed hours, we would encourage you to pick up a pass for a once-off fee of just $19.

What happens if I lose my 24.7 Active Pass?
If you misplace your 24.7 Active Pass we would recommend contacting your club immediately to organise a replacement. This will incur a cost of $19.
Does Goodlife offer any weight loss programs to members?
We offer a range of weight loss, lifestyle and functional training programs to our members for a once-off entry fee including the Goodlife 12 and 8 Week Challenges, Goodlife Games, as well as 1-on-1 and small group training sessions with our Fitness Professionals.
When does the Goodlife 12 Week Challenge run?
Our 12 Week Challenge kicks off every February. It’s a great way to get into health and fitness for the year ahead and make some friends within the Goodlife community.
When does the Goodlife 8 Week Challenge run?
The Goodlife 8 Week Challenge - based on our original 12 Week Challenge program - commences in September/October each year.
What’s the difference between the Fitter Faster Stronger category of the 12 and 8 Week Challenges and Goodlife Games?
They are similar in that they both based on functional training. Goodlife Games runs for 4 weeks and involves partners teaming up to compete against the best of the best from each club. Fitter Faster Stronger is a category of our 8 and 12 Week Challenges and focuses more on individuals competing against each other over a longer period of time, with the added benefit of weekly meal plans and recipes.
How can I check my local club class timetable?

Do I need to do anything to prepare for my first class?Like any good workout, preparation is key.

- Arrive early 10-15 minutes early and check in at reception (or collect class token)
- Say hello to your instructor and let them know about any medical conditions or injuries
