The FFS challenge is a huge community event that brings all our team members together from across our clubs to test their fitness. 

Every week for 4 weeks, participants are challenged with a WOW (Workout of the Week) that they must complete in club. We will announce the WOW every Wednesday for 4 weeks and participants have until the following Monday to submit their scores. 

The FFS Challenge is suitable for any level from beginner, to intermediate to advanced. No matter what level, there is a version for you.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Who can register?

The 4-Week Challenge commences 29th May, 2024 and is available to current Fitness & Lifestyle Group staff and contractors only. Participants must not use any performance enhancing supplements or strength enhancing drugs. Submission of an entry form in the 4 Week Challenge constitutes your acceptance of these rules, regulations, policies and registration.

When do registrations close?

Registrations close 16 May, 2024. Any entries after the start date of the Challenge will forfeit any value in materials or services which are released between date of Registration and start date.

What's included?

Your Challenge registration includes a 'test' workout to assist selecting the relevant category for the 4-Week Challenge followed by an exclusive weekly group workout, known as WOW (Workout of the Week). Registration includes weekly EDM’s where the Challenger will be required to submit a score. Scores will be shared via EDM linking to the member portal (website).

Who is it for?

The 4 Week Challenge is suitable for beginners, intermediate or advanced participants looking for a high intensity workout that encourages group training, camaraderie, community but also competition. It aims to improve performance and improve mobility, inspiring those that have plateaued, become bored with their program or simply lost their way. 4 Week Challenge workouts are designed by qualified Personal Trainers and are general in nature.

What are the competition rules?

Fitness & Lifestyle Group reserves the right to interpret the rules and, where necessary, to amend the rules at its sole discretion and without notice to the individual competitors. Rules and regulations of the judging criteria, terms and conditions and exercise rules must be followed. Failure to do so could result in disqualification from judging. Rule interpretations and all judging decisions are final. All entrants’ details will remain confidential and will not be disclosed without written permission.

What's the judging criteria?

There will be one male and one female winner selected from each National Region. Regions are determined as follows: QLD, NSW, VIC, WA & SA (combined). Further to this, one male and female will be crowned National Champion, decided by a further workout against the Regional winners. In addition, four most improved winners will be selected.

Do I need a trainer?

It is a requirement to complete your WOW with a Trainer in order to submit your score on the National leaderboard. A trainer will ensure all movements meet the standard of the competition, make adjustments if necessary & encourage the WOW be completed to the safest & best of your ability. The staff challenge can be completed in groups whereby a Fitness Professional has explained all movements & safety precautions.
